I've been on my creative freelance journey for about two and a half years now, and only recently have I accomplished a previously unimaginable goal: writing a solo cello piece. It sounds simple, but after a year-long hiatus from composition, it actually took a lot of convincing for me to even consider myself a composer worthy of a commission.
